
On Saturday, August 1, 2009, L.A. County Sup. Gloria Molina opened the Soledad Enrichment Action (SEA) Parent Education Center—apart of the Soledad Enrichment Action charter school—in East L.A. The center is located in the Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau building which is connected to the East L.A.’s Sheriff’s Station. Representatives from the Soledad Enrichment Action organization also thanked Sup. Molina for her dedicated support. The new classrooms will be used for special courses offered to adults in the East L.A area. New computers will also be installed in each classroom.
