Skid Row Assessment Team Board Presentation

On Tuesday, December 9, 2008, L.A. County Sup. Gloria Molina honored individuals from the Skid Row Demonstration Project, an effort that ensured the successful placement of homeless families into permanent housing. The Skid Row Assessment Team—created by the county’s Dept. of Children and Family Services and comprised of representatives from the county’s Dept. of Public and Social Services, Dept. of Mental health, and Dept. of Public Health—successfully moved 1,000 homeless individuals into permanent homes. Sup. Molina awarded scrolls to department heads and managers, thanking them for their help and support. Back to gallery
