Gloria Molina joined Southland artists, intellectuals, and their friends and family to celebrate the work of painter Dolores Gonzalez Haro at the 2nd Annual First District Artist Showcase. Haro—a second-generation Mexican-American—creates paintings that vividly celebrate her ancestral roots, which reach from El Monte, California to the Mexican regions of Durango, Zacatecas and Meoqui, Chihuahua.
