The EventOn Monday, October 30, 2006, L.A. County Sup. Gloria Molina joined transportation experts, transit planners, and locally elected officials to urge L.A. County residents to support increased funds for state infrastructure projects—including more carpool lanes, improved freeway interchanges, and mass transportation—at the Mobility 21 Transportation Funding Press Conference and Open Session.  Held at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, California, the Mobility 21 Open Session provides the mass transit community with the opportunity to swap information on myriad issues, from the latest technological advances in the field of transportation to how changes in the political landscape could affect sources of funding for transportation projects.  This year, Sup. Gloria Molina and Sup. Zev Yaroslavsky delivered keynote speeches at the Mobility 21 Open Session luncheon to update attendees on the status of L.A. County Metro’s numerous mass transportation endeavors.
